played monopoly live and casino says bonus funds dont work there after it already let me bet

Just ran into something annoying. I was running through some bonus funds and the Monopoly live game totally let me place a few bets with them, no warning or anything. After a few rounds, my winnings didn't count and support hit me with the "bonus funds don't apply to this game" line. If that's the case, why even let the bets go through in the first place?

I usually keep a spreadsheet for which games are allowed but this one tripped me up. Has anyone else had this happen where the casino system accepts your bonus bets then later tells you they're not valid? Is this worth pushing back on with support or just a lost cause?
