Live blackjack lobby empty?

So I logged into my usual online casino spot ready to play a few hands of live blackjack, and the lobby was totally empty. Not a single seat taken, which just felt weird for a Friday night. Normally, you can't even find an open spot unless you're willing to hang out and wait. Did I miss a memo, or is there some maintenance going on? Slots were buzzing as always, so it wasn't a site-wide outage or anything.

I gotta admit, a completely empty table was pretty tempting, but it also had me second-guessing if there’s some rule I don’t know about, or maybe everyone jumped to some new promo I haven’t heard of yet. Not complaining about no competition, but it made me wonder if there’s a smarter reason to sit it out. Anyone else seen their live lobbies going full ghost town lately or am I just cursed with blackjack bad luck?

nah the friday part is not even the weird bit to me!!! online casinos do this goofy half-broken thing where the live side is technically up but the feed feels off or results are lagging a beat, and people just vanish without some grand memo. ive seen it where one room sits dead and slots keep humming like nothing happened. empty table by itself does not mean danger, sometimes it just means regulars got annoyed and bailed after 2 hands bc dealer interaction was dead and the pace felt wrong. if even perfect pairs blackjack was sitting there untouched then yeah id assume something was hinky on the live backend, not bad luck. did u click in and watch a full hand through, or was it one of those delayed results deals where the cards land and the update takes forever bc thats the tell for me

It’s usually the promo shove, not some mystery memo. I’ve watched a normal room go dead while they funnel everybody to VIP tables or Infinite Blackjack and plaster the front page with slots bonuses, which still annoys me sooo much because the one time I want a quiet seat, nobody’s there for a reason.

What gets me is when live dealer is "fine" but the bet button goes mushy for a round or two, that’s when i leave, not because the room’s empty. Qinker, when you saw the lag was it just the video or did it start missing chips on side bets too, like on pontoon style layouts with real cards

I bailed on Elite Blackjack once for that, just dead feed, dead room, ODD vibe.

Oh for sure, same energy here lol. Half the time it’s not some spooky memo, it’s the promo carousel shoving everybody into whatever boosted nonsense they pinned up top, and the regular live tables get buried three swipes deep in a clown lobby. I’ve had Fridays where I only found Double Exposure after poking around like a hall monitor lmao. Add a little game latency and yeah, people vanish fast. Not cursed, just bad lobby design.
