Yeah, I’ve seen the sports betting version of this and it’s the same boring outcome every time: teach somebody to love 8-leg parlays “for science,” they hit one stupid ticket, get all bright-eyed, and that’s the red flag right there because now they think volatility is a personality trait, then a week later they’re reloading and acting confused. I had a buddy do this with alt spreads during NFL Sundays and lol, it didn’t create some secret weapon, it just trained a guy to mistake noise for skill.

Nah, the part that bugs me is acting like “unpredictable” is secretly genius lol. It’s not. I did this with my baby cousin in heads-up hold’em, told him to splash around from early position and overbet junk “for science,” and it worked for like... One shuffle. Then anybody with eyes adjusted and he got cooked by rake and impatience. Live dealer tables are even worse for that sooo yeah, funny bit, trash strategy lmao

Yeah, brief counterpoint: against absolute kitchen-table zombies, dumb-aggressive crap can look genius for about 40 minutes. Then it rots. I did this once with a buddy, told him to treat every hand like a clearance sale and “protect his image” by splashing around from late position no matter what. He won early, got cocky, then started marrying every bad habit because the first little heater felt like proof. That’s the real problem: you’re not teaching chaos, you’re teaching someone to mislabel luck as skill. Same reason crypto casinos hook people so fast, speed turns garbage feedback into a belief system. Funny once, lousy habit after. Crash and burn, just slower than people admit.
