Cashout after satellite win?

Scored a seat in a live event through a cheap satellite, and honestly, I don’t have much experience with these bigger buy-in tournaments. I’ve always just played low stakes online or blackjack. It’s tempting to just take the cash value and walk, feels way more stable than blowing it all on one game that’ll probably have a bunch of pros.

Feels weird to win my way in and then consider bailing, but I can’t help thinking about the potential swings. I know some folks see this as a once-in-a-lifetime spot, but I’m usually more comfortable grinding out small wins. Curious what others think is the smart move for stability in the long run, because the idea of losing it all in an hour stresses me out.

Cash the seat. Roulette-brain says spin it. Rent says don't

Yeah, I’m with the “take the money if that’s how your brain is wired” crowd. Small nuance ppl miss: a seat is NOT the same as bankroll. It’s a ticket with a story attached, that’s all. If your blackjack brain is already doing the stress math, cashing it is fine lol. I’ve kept the seat once, spent two days miserable, busted, and that cured me REAL quick!!!
