Satellite bubble pain

I swear, bubbling out of satellites is its own special kind of tilt. Last night I got it in with queens vs tens, all the chips go in preflop, and dude spikes a ten right on the river. Of course, it’s literally the last spot before the seats get handed out, so there I go - no seat, nothing. It’s the kind of thing that makes you wonder if you should even fire bullets at these satellites or just direct buy-in and spare the pain, but the value’s obviously so much better if you win the seat cheap.

I’m usually pretty disciplined, but I’ll admit, this one had me fuming. Not even for the money, just the close-but-not-quite feeling. Makes me want to go take a walk or something before I look at another table. Wonder if anyone else handles these bubbles better or just ends up chasing that run-it-up tilt session after

Yeah but satellite bubble ain't normal MTT pain, lol. In Blackjack/poker a min-cash matters. Here 1 off the seat is just ZERO, that's why it stings lmao

Its worse because near the seat line your stack stops behaving like money and starts behaving like a wrench with one useful size. People keep treating the last few hands like normal poker or Blackjack volume, then torch themselves calling too wide when survival is the whole bet.

Nah, roulette pain is cleaner: ball lands, story over. Satellite bubbles are worse because you did the math right and still get dragged by seat structure. Brutal.
