poker room says my heads up play looked like soft play because same villain quit fast

so the poker site flagged my account for “soft play” because i kept ending up heads up with this one guy, then he’d leave super quick, almost every time. my style isn’t even that friendly, so i’m kinda scratching my head here. they didn’t freeze my account or anything, just sent a warning email and said if it keeps happening they’ll take “further action.” not exactly what i want on my record just for some weird run of opponents bailing. feels like roulette tables never care why you walk away, just that you played your chips.

i’d understand if we were chip dumping or colluding, but i didn’t even know this villain before this week. anyone else run into stuff like this? kind of making me rethink jumping between tables for heads up spots if the software is gonna cry wolf every time some random dips out.

nah, but blackjack pits are way less weird about this lol. poker rooms flag dumb patterns all the time!!!

It’s the repeat heads up seat that does it, not even the play half the time, same as live dealer where the system clocks weird patterns before a human does. Blackjack pits barely care, poker rooms get REAL twitchy if one guy keeps vanishing after you sit

What gets me is the same guy insta-bouncing, that’s exactly the kind of dumb pattern their bot is gonna latch onto lol. Yeah blackjack pits don’t care, but poker rooms are paranoid as hell because heads up looks sketchy on paper even when it’s nothing. I had a room email me over table-hopping once, not even a freeze, just that fake polite “further action” crap lmao. Roulette you can color up and vanish, nobody writes poetry about it. In poker I’d stop chasing that same seat for a bit, not because they’re right, because their software is dumb
