casino says my poker bonus got voided because i sat with same players too often

Had a weird situation at an online casino last week. I was grinding out their poker bonus and everything looked fine until I tried to cash out. They emailed saying my bonus was voided because I played too many sessions with the same set of players. According to them, it’s against their promo terms because they say it counts as "collusion risk" even though we weren’t chip dumping or signaling or anything shady like that. I just kept ending up at the same stakes at the same times, so naturally there’s overlap.

I get that casinos need to protect themselves, but it feels like they’re just looking for reasons to duck out of bonuses sometimes. Has anyone else run into this? Interested if anyone’s gotten this kind of response and what happened, especially if you were able to make a case to get your bonus reinstated. Trying to figure out if it’s even worth pushing back or just moving on.
