casino says my blackjack wagering didnt count because i used side bets too much.

Put in a solid blackjack session for a bonus and now the casino is saying my side bet action ruined everything. Apparently the fine print says if you do too many side bets, the wagering doesn’t count toward the requirements? They told me the main game bets would count but because most of my chips were split between the main hand and side bets, I’m out of luck. I thought it was all going to the same pot in terms of volume.

I get that they want people to follow rules, but how is it fair if I was still playing legit blackjack? I barely touched the 21+3 and perfect pairs stuff anyway. Makes me paranoid to trust any promo after this, but wondering if anyone else had the same problem or found a way around it next time. This sort of thing makes it tough to want to play for the long run.

The dumb part is they count blackjack and then carve out 21+3 like it's not blackjack, real real common promo garbage with unclear terms

What gets me is they bury that carveout where nobody reads it, same as half these casino reviews with slow sites and junk terms. Boring. If it’s blackjack action, count the damn action.

Nah, time isn’t the hard part lol, the math is. Casinos love when you lean on 21+3/Perfect Pairs because that stuff is a vacuum cleaner with lights on. I’ve seen the same garbage on Sports Betting rollovers too, where the “fun” markets magically count different once you’re deep in. Live Dealer makes it worse because people start spraying chips everywhere like it’s all one bucket. It isn’t. “Still playing legit blackjack” doesn’t matter to them lmao, only how they classify each wager on the backend. Fair? No. Predictable? Yeah, absolutely. That’s the scammy part, not the clock.

I'd check the exact wording before assuming the side bets completely killed the wagering. Some promos treat side bets as non-qualifying separately from the main blackjack wager, while others have specific limits on how much can be played on them.
