poker room says my bonus got reviewed because i kept joining same table after fish
Got an email saying my bonus is "under review" because I kept sitting down at the same table after a clear recreational player busted out and rebought. All I did was leave for a couple hands when the table emptied, then sat again when the fish returned. No multi-accounting, no angle shooting, just trying to find decent spots during a dead shift.
They’re claiming this is some kind of predatory play against casuals and using it as a reason to possibly void my bonus. I get not wanting bumhunters or collusion, but honestly this felt pretty standard table selection. It’s not like I followed this player across tables for hours or anything extreme.
Anyone else ever had this with bonuses or is this a new excuse for the house to not pay up? Where is the line for normal game selection vs “predatory” and how do you even prove it either way?
That is table selecting right up to the line and then acting surprised when they call it what it is. I used to tell myself “I’m just finding a good game,” same song every grinder uses, then you watch your own sit-out, sit-back pattern on a replay and it goes clack clack, not subtle at all. Bonus money makes rooms twitchy, especially the crypto casino crowd, and honestly I get why.
