does bum hunting make poker rooms limit your promos or review your account faster

If you play lower stakes and only target weaker opponents, does the poker room actually start watching you closer? I’ve heard about people who stick to easy tables and suddenly get their bonuses limited or their promo offers dry up out of nowhere. Seems like the rooms don’t love players who cherry-pick every hand for value, but I’m not sure if that’s just talk or if they have systems flagging those accounts for bum hunting specifically. I’ve been hitting cash tables on slower nights and honestly it can look a bit obvious if you only join certain players, especially if there’s not much traffic.

Is this something people really get warnings or bans for, or does it just make them less likely to get promos and rakeback deals? I keep track of some regulars, but I don't want to mess up a good deposit bonus or anything. Curious what others have seen - would rather not get shunned by the promo gods for just being selective.

imo the promo stuff usually cares more about bonus-clearing patterns than you sitting with fish, lol. i had an account get the slow little “review” after a deposit match when i was grinding the same low-stakes cash window every graveyard shift, never got warned for who i sat with tho

Usually promo abuse gets hit first, not table picking?
