played heads up cash and villain disconnected every big pot, room says normal

Played a heads up cash session online, and every time we got to a big pot, the other guy would suddenly disconnect. It’d pause up for a bit, then he’s back in like 30 seconds, claiming connection issues. Weird part is it only ever happened during important hands. Support says it’s just variance, nothing shady, but it felt pretty off.

Anyone else get this sort of thing? I know bad beats and tech glitches are part of the ride, but can’t help thinking maybe he was using it to mess with my timing or get some advantage. Paranoid, or is this actually a common trick?

Seen it heads up once. Guy vanished every all-in and came back on the river. Room called it normal too 🙄

Nah, "variance" is lazy lol. If it’s every big pot, that’s a pattern, not bad luck. Same vibe as live rooms with random freezes 🙄

30 seconds every big pot, yeah that's real real convenient for him
