cold deck session

had the absolute worst run tonight at the table. you ever just feel like the deck is frozen stiff and not a single hand goes your way? got 3bet pre almost every orbit and just bricked flops non-stop. even the hands i played snug just bled chips on the turn. usually i can stay patient but this one seriously tested me. felt like trying to win a coin flip with a bent quarter.

does anybody else do something to reset after these kinds of nights? just curious how people handle it when literally nothing is connecting.

Every orbit? Short-handed that'll happen. Still stings.

Nah, "every orbit" is normal-ish

what gets me is guys act like this means something mystical happened nah its just a crap session and the dumbest reset is firing up online casinos after, ive done that exact stupid move and bled way more on live blackjack at the minimum bet just to feel action again. if im getting 3bet to death and bricking i dont need vibes i need 10 mins and a hand history later when im not tilted into seeing ghosts. cold deck nights happen, turning it into a second session on ur phone in the parking lot is where the real damage starts

phone blackjack after poker is how a 2 big blind loss turns into 40 in 15 minutes, double deck blackjack especially

Short-handed, sure, but were the 3bets from one seat?

Nah, “cold deck” gets blamed for way too much lol. Half the time it’s you forcing spots after a crap bonus grind session, I’ve done it, promos had me playing longer and suddenly every 3bet felt personal...
