what’s your go-to strategy when you’re card dead for hours

Whole session tonight was a brick-fest. Just never picked up anything playable, not even suited connectors or a decent ace. Tried not to force it but when it gets this dry, my stack just gets chipped away from the blinds and antes. I find myself mixing in a few light 3-bets or floating flops just to stay awake, but feels like I’m just setting money on fire sometimes.

I know being patient is important but sometimes I wonder if I’m bleeding away too much by just waiting for hands. What do you guys do to stay involved or minimize losses when it’s hours without cards?
