I've been seeing a lot of people at the table acting like those racetrack bets, especially repeats, are just setting themselves up for failure. 0.3s is plenty in live roulette if the game provider isn't asleep. I've had Poker tables lock cleaner than that for years.

Last session at my regular spot, I kept watching players hammer the insurance bet every time the dealer flipped an Ace. It got me thinking again about the long-term math on that move. I get the appeal in the moment - nobody wants to see their blackjack or big double-up squashed by a dealer’s ten, but all the stats I’ve seen call insurance a classic sucker bet. Unless someone’s been actually counting cards and honestly, nobody at my table was, you’re basically just betting for the dealer to have a blackjack at worse than even odds. I tried to bring it up with a couple guys after a tough hand and got shrugged off. Maybe there’s something I’m missing, like some angle folks are using these days. Would love to hear what others have experienced when it comes to the insurance side of things. Is anyone actually making it work for them, or does it only seem tempting after a run of bad luck?
I finished a blackjack bonus last week, played mostly standard hands but threw in some side bets for fun. Now after everything went through, support told me those side bets voided my bonus, even though the system took my wagers and gave me bonus progress the whole time. Feels kind of shady to tell me after the fact instead of blocking or warning me up front. Anybody else have casinos pull this on them before? Curious if I’ve got any ground to push back, or if this is just how they get you.

Poker promos do this too, and support always gets sudden provider amnesia. If the tracker blanks, I count it as gone.
Hand ID is the only part I’d bother with, and support either has server-side action logs or they don’t. Funny how poker rooms can spit out clean hand histories for months, months, but blackjack gets vague fast. Did DK give you a timestamped action trail or just the pretty round summary?
