why are the good promos always for games i never play

every time there’s a new promo, it’s always for slots or some game i’ve never touched. poker and live dealer almost never get any love unless it’s those tiny cashback things that barely matter. i get that they want to push new players to random games but it’s just weird how rarely promos target the stuff some of us actually grind. maybe there’s some method behind it i’m not seeing. i always end up just skipping most promos unless i’m running super cold and desperate for a change. anyone else feel like this or is there a reason they avoid good promos on table games and poker? at this point i just ignore the banners.

mystery bonus paid dust

just checked my account and found a “mystery bonus” with no details, barely even a notification. it’s there one day, gone the next, and now nothing in my inbox about it. i’ve played a fair bit of live dealer poker lately, but there was nothing that tied directly to any promo. no idea if it was a targeted thing or some kind of glitch. i usually screenshot all my promo messages and i keep close track of offers, but this one’s got zero info to go off. anyone else get weird one-off bonuses lately and then get left hanging? trying to decide if i should even bother chasing support over this or just let it go and stick to my poker grind.

account limit stuck

so i'm running into this weird issue where my account’s been hard stuck at a really low max bet for about a week, even though i’ve barely played slots or any of the other usual “risk” games. pretty much 90 percent of my time is live dealer poker or blackjack, grinding pretty standard stakes. i don’t use vpns or multi-account or anything like that - i’m probably boringly above board. i fired off a couple emails to support, got the usual copy-paste about “routine checks” and “responsible gambling”, which isn’t super helpful. i haven’t hit any self-exclusion tools or dropped any big wins lately, so i can’t find a clear reason for the limit. actually starting to wonder if sticking mainly to low-margin games like live dealer poker gets you flagged for limits or something. has anyone else had this happen out of nowhere? is it usually temporary or do i need to switch up games or platforms?

Hit 12 vs 3?

so i was grinding a session last night and had this annoying run of 12 vs dealer 3 hands. every time, i got that little voice in my head second-guessing whether to stick or take the hit. i know basic strategy says hit but the idea of busting on a low card still feels rough in the moment, especially when i’m up a bit. some folks at the table were standing and swearing by it, too, claiming long-term they see better outcomes. does anyone here actually switch it up depending on their stack or vibes at the table, or do you stick with hitting no matter what?

stat correction cooked me

had a parlay riding on a monday night game, looked locked after the last play. stats showed my guy got his last catch, everything lined up, notifications even popped saying it cashed. checked again the next morning and bam, payout reversed. turns out they did some postgame stat correction and pulled a reception off the board for him. feel like i’ve seen similar rants but didn’t realize it could actually flip a result like that. do the books always wait until stats are official before settling? seems like a weird gray area. i’m used to waiting in poker when there’s a technical error or cards get exposed but this feels way more out of my hands. just venting, but dang, took the wind out for real.

deposit failed charged

so i tried making a deposit earlier and it said it failed, but my bank shows i got charged. super annoying. i already emailed support with screenshots and all that, but wondering if anyone else has had the same thing happen? not gonna lie, i save receipts for basically everything but this is the first time i'm genuinely concerned the money might just vanish into a black hole. i’m used to tracking stuff for poker and live-dealer buy-ins but never really had a casino mess up a payment like this before. i’m debating if i should just wait it out or start bugging support more often about it. not sure how patient i should be here before it turns into a lost cause. how long would you wait for support to fix something like this?

sportsbook voided my rugby handicap because team name was listed slightly wrong

sportsbook voided my rugby handicap because team name was listed slightly wrong

made a rugby handicap bet and the sportsbook just voided it saying there was a "discrepancy" with the team name, like one letter off in the listing. outcome had already played out, the team i picked actually covered, so it's not like i was getting some unfair edge. just feels super sketchy and i'm trying to decide if it's worth fighting or just a normal thing they do to dodge liability. i always thought minor listing errors would get sorted, not voided after the fact. anyone seen this happen with other sports? feels like maybe there's more to it or some unspoken policy i missed. i've had live dealer spots where the payout got reviewed, but never got reversed just for a typo.

played book of dead for promo and later got told it was excluded provider

so i went for a slot promo and naturally picked book of dead since it's my old comfort pick, spun through the whole bonus, and then only later did i get a message saying "oh, sorry, that's an excluded provider." didn't see it in the terms at all, or maybe it was buried somewhere, but there was nothing flagged when i started. i'm used to more transparency from poker or live tables, so this feels weird. do they just not code it so you can't play excluded games? i get if people try to stretch promos, but if the system lets you play and doesn't flag it, feels like a trap. just trying to figure out if this is standard, or if others have gotten burned on similar slot exclusions or stealthy terms. i'm thinking next time i might skip these promos altogether unless it’s super clear.
