stat correction cooked me

had a parlay riding on a monday night game, looked locked after the last play. stats showed my guy got his last catch, everything lined up, notifications even popped saying it cashed. checked again the next morning and bam, payout reversed. turns out they did some postgame stat correction and pulled a reception off the board for him.

feel like i’ve seen similar rants but didn’t realize it could actually flip a result like that. do the books always wait until stats are official before settling? seems like a weird gray area. i’m used to waiting in poker when there’s a technical error or cards get exposed but this feels way more out of my hands. just venting, but dang, took the wind out for real.
