draftkings player threes prop settled before official nba corrections posted

noticed lately that draftkings keeps settling player threes props way before the nba makes any official stat corrections. like tonight, i had a player at 2.5 made threes, looked like he finished at 3, got paid out, but then later on nba logs an extra stat correction and suddenly he’s at 4. no impact this time, but it gets me thinking - how do they handle it when corrections flip a win to a loss or vice versa? seems like they don’t really go back and fix it after settlement, or at least i haven’t seen it.

i get that they want to close bets fast, but nba stat corrections can come in hours later or even next morning. market just shrugs and moves on, but i’m not convinced it’s that smooth if a big prop swings the other way after payout. feels like there’s a lot of trust on their part that early stats won’t be updated in a way that matters, but anyone else think that’s a bit risky or are we all just supposed to live with it?
