player assist stat correction?

Had something weird happen last night with a player assist stat being corrected after the game ended. I had a prop riding on the over, checked my slip, and it was graded as a win right after the final whistle. Then about 40 minutes later, boom - stat correction drops, assist taken away, slip flips to a loss. No notice, just quietly updated. I get how scorekeepers can make mistakes live but should these bets be flipped after payouts start processing?

I know sports like basketball and hockey can get hairy with what counts as an assist, but it’s feeling like a gray area when they adjust stuff after we’ve already "won" or "lost." Not sure if it’s supposed to be instant final or if corrections are always fair game no matter when they come through. Anyone else have action affected by a late stat change lately? I tend to chase these player props but never thought a small stat would swing a whole night.

Yeah that’s the part that pisses me off lol, if they can flip an assist 40 mins later then that slip was never really settled. Had a Dejounte Murray over 5.5 assists get yoinked on a correction last season, whole $75 stake went from green to DEAD and support acted like that was normal lmao
