draftkings says geolocation failed during bet placement but still took my stake pending
Had this on a live Poker prop, took 27 minutes to pop back into balance. Nbrown54 wouldnt touch that stake twice.

I went to fire off a live bet but got a geolocation error right as I clicked confirm, only for my account balance to go down and the bet is just sitting as pending. Tried refreshing and logging out, same deal, stake deducted but nothing shows up in my open bets. Anyone else run into this? Not my first weird tech glitch with betting sites but usually it just blocks the bet and nothing happens. The confusing part is I’m not even near a state border and my phone GPS had full bars. I double-checked my location settings and all looks normal. Super frustrating with all these extra hoops to jump through already, and now I can’t tell if I’m stuck or just in some kind of limbo.
Been noticing lately some of these online slots bury the RTP info way down in the help or settings menu, if they even show it at all. Back in my blackjack or poker days at the real tables, you knew what edge you were up against, more or less. With these slots, sometimes it feels like they don’t want you to see the numbers unless you go hunting. It kind of makes me more cautious about picking which slots to even try. I like looking for promotions or bonuses, but if I can’t see what the house edge is, it feels like walking in with my eyes closed. Curious if anybody else here digs around for that info or just rolls with whatever they get. Personally, I think evaluation is worth the effort, even if it means skipping a flashy new game.
Ever notice the same dozen hitting up to nine spins in a row? Caught myself staring at the wheel when it happened last night, like the table was trying to send me a message or something. I saw the second dozen pop up over and over, and it had the whole group buzzing. Some folks jumped on it, kept parlaying up, others looked like they were ready to switch it up and bet against. I didn’t touch it but started scribbling down what happened just to see if there was a pattern. I know there’s a lot of debate about whether these streaks mean anything or if it’s just dumb luck. Noticed some other regulars in the chat mention similar runs. Wondering if this kind of thing makes you change your betting approach, or do you just stick to your plan no matter what?
Yeah, that’s not a glitch, that’s the whole rotten setup imo. They burn bonus first because it kills your flexibility and keeps your cash tied up behind the wagering wall. Same cheap logic as bad poker promos where they decide what stack you’re “really” playing with. Mrs. Brown’s seen that trick before. If bonus gets used first, the strategy is already half cooked tbh. I just assume the terms are written to make the obvious move impossible.
Poker bad beat, sure, but slots have dead wilds too. Three wilds means nothing without paylines.
Seen this in poker promos too. If your slip showed -200 at placement, I'd push for the bonus bet.
Depends what you play. Poker wants different things than slots.
Poker? Nah
