why are the good promos always for games i never play

every time there’s a new promo, it’s always for slots or some game i’ve never touched. poker and live dealer almost never get any love unless it’s those tiny cashback things that barely matter. i get that they want to push new players to random games but it’s just weird how rarely promos target the stuff some of us actually grind.

maybe there’s some method behind it i’m not seeing. i always end up just skipping most promos unless i’m running super cold and desperate for a change. anyone else feel like this or is there a reason they avoid good promos on table games and poker? at this point i just ignore the banners.

Yeah, because poker promos get abused to death the second they’re even half decent. That’s the boring obvious reason. Not “theory,” not banners, just a room looking at how fast a promo turns into guys mass-tabling, chip-dumping, soft-playing, or sitting every cheap table farming points like rats in a feed bin. I played one hand-race promo a while back and the whole place turned weird for two days. Same names everywhere, trash action, people snap-folding junk spots they’d normally play because they were chasing whatever the promo meter wanted. It made the games worse, fast. Slots can spray confetti at anybody. Poker promos change player behavior immediately. That’s why they keep it stingy and ugly, and yeah, I ignore most of it too.

Slots hide it better.

Also slots promos are pre-capped lol, poker ones get gamed.

Yeah, because game theory matters and poker players don't bleed enough for the promo math, OBVIOUSLY

Yeah, same. It’s slots because they can dress it up like a gift and still keep you on a leash with goofy wagering and “eligible games” buried three clicks down. I learned that the dumb way chasing a 50 free spins thing once, half the decent slots didn’t even count right and the rest paid like a vending machine with a grudge. Poker and live dealer promos are tiny because those players actually notice when a deal smells off. I ignore the banners too now.
