I always tilt after a bad beat… how do you guys deal with it?
Lately I keep finding myself losing it after a brutal river, like I know it’s just variance but my brain refuses to process it rationally in the moment. All those hours trying to stay disciplined and then it’s gone after one hand. I’ll fire off a few more buy-ins out of pure frustration even though I know better, but can’t seem to help it once I’m in that zone.
Tried getting up and walking around or watching the live dealer tables for a bit, but it doesn’t always reset my headspace. Does anyone actually have something that works, like a routine or mindset that kills that urge to chase or tilt? Or is everyone just faking it and white-knuckling through?
