how do you deal with bad beats in online poker without tilting?

Feels like every time I grind out a decent hand, someone rivers their miracle card and my stack takes a dive. I’m not really a “slam the desk” type but I’ll admit the urge to go full ape sometimes creeps in, especially online where there’s no fresh air or table talk to take the edge off. Been trying to just close the laptop and walk around but the losses still linger in my head, ya know?

Crypto games feel even harsher with those quick deposits and instant rebuys, so it’s a struggle not to chase. I keep thinking maybe a different routine would help - or maybe I’m missing some mental trick other folks use. How do you guys keep your cool when online variance just dumps all over a good session?

for me it’s all about focusing on the decisions not the outcomes, like reviewing my hand history and asking if i’d make the same call again with no results shown. ever tried narrating your thought process out loud to force a reset after a tough hand?

I hear you, that crypto speed makes chasing way too tempting, but logging each session and reviewing the long game helps me not lose my head. Do you ever check your biggest downswings across a month instead of a single night?
