Late reg punt?
Was eyeing the late reg period in a low-stakes MTT after a day of trying to untangle prop bet math for work. Not gonna lie, I've been tempted to just hop in with a short stack right before the reg closes and start flipping, like an all-or-nothing play. I've seen some folks do it, especially when they just want to take a shot with a few blinds and run pure, but I can't help but feel like it's mostly burning money and hope.
Curious what the crew thinks about making a habit of these late reg punts. My brain keeps saying that missing most of the play just gives too little info and too much variance, but sometimes that urge for quick adrenaline spikes wins out over reason. Not sure if this is some ingrained slots gambler itch or a genuine edge to squeeze in this era. Wondering if it's a decent way to make use of a random extra half hour or just a trap.
