do you guys play tight or loose online… what actually works better

Every time I try to stick to tight play online, I run into guys who are just splashing around with junk and catching miracle rivers. Then when I loosen up and start playing a wider range, it feels like everyone suddenly wakes up with rockets and I'm just bleeding chips. My instincts tell me it should be all about adapting, but I keep wondering if there's really a "best" baseline style for online play or if it's just a perpetual guessing game.

When I ran some stats on my hands, the tighter sessions looked better long term but the looser nights scored some big wins that skewed my results. Do you think it actually makes sense to stick with one approach over the other or is it really all about shifting gears based on how the table feels? How do you guys decide what style to default to online?
