best roulette for actually walking away up

I've been trying to figure out if there's really any roulette variant that's better for actually leaving with more than you came with, at least over a few sessions. I know the house edge always wins in the end, but European vs American or even some of these new games with bonus rounds or side bets have me second guessing. My focus is usually on the promos, but if the base game drains me too fast the bonus isn't worth much.

Anyone here have better luck on certain wheels or specific versions?

European roulette gives you the best odds out of the classic lineups because it cuts out that second zero, which really adds up over time. Those wheels with extra bonus bets can look flashy but usually crank the house edge up quietly. Private roulette tables can sometimes offer unique side rules but most just stick to the standard payouts. Promos definitely help take the sting out of the grind, though. If you want a real shot at walking with profit, try treating each promo as a “target win” and leave if you hit it. It works about as well as setting a stop loss in blackjack when things start to go cold.
