why do some roulette wheels need way more replacements

i’ve noticed some roulette wheels get swapped out a lot more than others at certain places. like i get that parts wear down but shouldn’t every table get roughly the same amount of action over time? or is there something that makes certain wheels need fixing or replacing more? it doesn’t really line up with how blackjack tables get rotated and felt changed, those seem more consistent.

maybe it’s just older wheels having quirks or they’re watching for bias or something. sometimes i see more chips stuck near the wheel, or the dealers seem annoyed about one wheel over another. wondering if there’s a secret reason behind all the maintenance or if it’s just random. anyone noticed the same pattern or figured out why some wheels just can’t stay in play?

nah its usually not some grand player angle its the same live dealer wheels getting beat up by staff and nonstop use while the shiny backup sits there. watch one dealer hammer international roulette all shift and another baby it, then add janky verification and old software stalls and yeah one wheel is always "the problem"

Not random. Some wheels get abused harder by sloppy dealers and chip jams. Did you notice if it's the same crew on that wheel sooo often

I’ve noticed it on casino floor roulette when one wheel turns into the “lucky” wheel and every auntie, tourist, and six line goblin piles onto it for hours while the dead corner table sits there lonely. More action on one wheel means more wear, simple as that, and yeah I’m a little salty because I always end up on the lemon.

Yeah, same lol. One wheel near the sportsbook got yanked twice in a month. Grime + one sloppy dealer will cook it fast.
