anyone ever successfully convinced others their roulette system worked?

So I’ve been messing around with different roulette approaches for years, even though I know the math’s always against us in the long run. You see folks on YouTube or forums saying their system is “different” or that it “finally beats the wheel” and I gotta laugh. Tried explaining the so-called “hot and cold numbers” thing to my friend at the local spot and he looked at me like I was selling him oceanfront property in the desert. Not gonna lie, even with charts and tracking spins, no one ever seems convinced for more than an hour before the usual house edge slaps down any illusions.

The thing is, I actually enjoy tinkering with it - keeps me entertained more than just dropping chips down randomly. But every time I try sharing results, I just get more skepticism. Has anyone here ever managed to actually get another regular to take their system seriously? What did you say or do differently to make it stick, or is everyone just in their own bubble when it comes to roulette “systems”?
