Roulette inside vs outside bets: which actually has better odds
i've been rolling around the roulette table for a bit now but mostly stick to slots and sportsbooks, so maybe i'm just overthinking this. looking at inside vs outside bets, the payout differences look sweet but when i start adding up the odds, the math doesn't quite match up with the big wins you see folks chasing. my main question is about risk - outside bets seem safer but kinda boring, while inside bets are more exciting, just not sure how much of that is pure luck and how much is actually worse odds. i don't wanna grind all night just to lose slower, but i also hate blowing a wad on one spin.
do most of you go with safer outside bets for steady play, or chase the inside for bigger payouts? is there any real edge in long sessions or is it always the same house cut no matter what?
