Inside bets worth it?

everyone keeps hyping up inside bets like they’re some secret edge, but i don’t really get the appeal. if you actually run the numbers, your expected return is the same no matter where you put the chip. seems like it’s just flashier to go for the big win, but over time it bleeds you out quicker than outside bets. doesn’t matter if you’re betting on one number or six, house edge just sits there laughing at you either way.

i also never see anyone mention how choppy your bankroll gets on straight-ups. you hit one, cool, but what about the ten misses in a row before it? in poker, variance can be managed but in roulette it just feels like voluntarily signing up for headaches. am i missing something here or is it really just for the adrenaline junkies who don’t care about grinding?

Nah lol, the “ten misses” thing is doing too much. I used to pretend Blackjack Rebet was cleaner, same dumb bleed on a random spin... Inside’s just honest!!!

Yesss you’re not missing anything lol. Inside bets just torch your roll faster. I’d rather play Blackjack with DAS and at least have a reason for the swings lmao, straight-ups are just vibes and cold-number cope, that’s it.

Sure, the sweat is real, i'll give them that. But inside bets are just roulette cosplay for people who want blackjack volatility without doing any math, which is a LITTLE annoying 😒

it's not a secret edge, it's just people trying to turn roulette into slots for a minute, same edge sitting there, your bankroll just gets chewed up in a way that feels dumber because of the dead spins and table mins. i dropped straight-ups sooo fast, hated it from the first hour
