can you actually use intuition to win at slots
Sometimes when I'm playing slots I get this weird gut feeling about which game to pick or even when to stop, but I can't tell if that's just nonsense or if there's actually something there. I know the math says slots are just random spins and the house always wins in the long run, but I've had nights where I walked away up just from "feeling" a machine was about to hit or was cold and needed a break. Maybe it's just confirmation bias when I remember the wins and ignore the losses.
I come from more of a blackjack background where intuition matters way less than sticking to basic strategy and counting. But with slots, is there any real reason to trust your instincts? Anyone actually have a system where going with your gut seems to help, or is it all just a trick of the mind?
