Megaways math off?

been grinding megaways slots lately and noticing some weird swings that don’t really line up with the “official” rtp and hit rate numbers. i get that the math is super volatile with all the ways to win, but sometimes it feels like the actual game rhythm is off compared to what i’d expect from other high variance slots. especially during bonus rounds, seems like either total bust or outlier wins, and not a lot in between. maybe it’s just perception bias or maybe these engines are tweaked more than we think.

anyone else feel megaways slots run streakier or have patterns that don’t quite fit the posted stats?

It's the collapsing paylines feel, not the math. Bonus either dust or dumb luck

Salty is the right word, but the bit that gets me is turbo mode. I can sit through 40 roulette spins and feel steady, then a megaways slot rips through the same money so fast my tea goes cold. Had one with respins last winter, looked busy as anything, paid dust.

Yeah Megaways can definitely feel streakier 😂 but with the high volatility and changing reel setups, those wild bonus swings are probably more normal than the RTP being off.

nah the posted stats arent off, ppl just want the middle to show up on schedule and it never was gonna. same thing i hear from guys live betting nba totals after 3 straight overs like the 4th is owed lol, ive had 200 dead spins then a 96x base hit off one stupid 6-way screen, rng does not care!!!

Its the in-between that goes missing for me. I had a megaways bonus last week, set my one minute timer and watched 14 spins land like 38x total, then hours later one random base hit does more than that. The paytable feel gets weird fast
