I still don’t really get the Megaways hype

i've played a decent number of slots over the years, but i never really found myself pulled in by the whole megaways thing. i get that there's a ton of ways to win and the reels keep shifting, but at the end of the day, the payouts never feel as frequent as the hype makes it sound. i actually track my spins sometimes, and if anything, the bonus rounds seem even harder to land than regular games. maybe i’m just unlucky but i don’t think these games are as hot as everyone says.

for me, i always come back to blackjack because it’s straightforward and you know exactly where you stand with the numbers. i’ll play slots for a change of pace, but i never make them a main thing. is there something about megaways i’m missing, or is it all just flashy distractions? anyone else feel the same way or am i just showing my age with this one?
