how do you even choose which slot to play… there’s too many

Scrolling through the slots menu takes longer than actually playing sometimes. I’m mostly a blackjack guy but the other night I thought I’d try a few spins just for kicks. The problem is it’s just endless pages of wild themes and bonus round promises and none of it means much to me. I see flashy graphics and don’t know what’s actually decent or if there’s any logic in picking one over another, or if I’m just throwing darts with my wallet.

I’m not chasing jackpots or anything, just want something that doesn’t eat my balance in five minutes and maybe keeps it interesting. Some people say check the volatility or RTP numbers but I feel like that info is either buried or just doesn’t line up with what actually happens. Do folks just pick their favorite animal or whatever cartoon character looks best, or is there something I’m missing in the way you narrow down your list?
