Asian spread push?

so i was sweating an nba game last night and i realized i’m not 100% clear on how pushes work with asian spreads, especially with basketball lines that aren’t whole numbers. i get it with the usual half points - obviously those can’t push - but with something like asian handicap -1.0/-1.5, does half your bet get refunded if it hits one and the other half loses? feels like a split outcome but i haven’t really checked the slip after one of these yet, i’m usually all-in or off the market. anyone see their slip refund part of the stake before? trying to tighten up my risk side before mlb season starts.
