cash out saved me for once.

Had one of those sweats on the basketball last night where I thought my ticket was done. Took a spread early, game gets dicey, and by halftime the dogs are actually up, but looking gassed. I’m watching the live lines jump all over and the cash out offer keeps changing. Usually I hold steady but this time I hit it when it was just a little below what I could’ve won. Felt like a chicken for a second but the underdogs collapsed hard after halftime so dodged a loss there.

I used to rag on cash out cause it always seemed like a cop out for people who didn’t trust their picks, but now I’m rethinking it. On live dealer games I never use it - prefer to see things through. For sports though? Maybe it’s just smart to lock in something sometimes. Anyone else actually use cash out on a regular basis, or is it a trap in the long run?
