cashout keeps changing right when i press it, feels pointless

Had a live bet running the other night, and I tried to hit cashout when the value looked right. The thing jumped a few bucks lower the exact second I pressed. Tried waiting for a better window a few times and it just kept flashing, but always skipped down just when I wanted out. Feels like the option is there to tempt you but not really let you act on good timing.

I know part of it is rapid odds updating, but it still seems super sketchy. Is anyone actually able to snag the cashout at the higher value, or is this just the way it always goes?
