anyone actually making money from sports betting consistently?

I bounce between blackjack and sports betting, and honestly, I’ve had decent streaks in both, but nothing that holds up all year. I feel like I get up for a month or two, then just gradually give it back. Tried the “smart” stuff too, like spreadsheets and tracking units, but unless I’m only betting favorites, I usually slide back to zero or just a hair above.

Feels like the stories of people actually making a living off this are either half-lies or they have a massive bankroll and some wild self-control. Not saying it’s impossible, but in all my years messing with this stuff, I haven’t seen anyone in my circle who’s up consistently over a couple years. Wondering if I’m just missing something obvious.

Biggest thing I’ve seen trip people up is chasing “edge” on prop bets or obscure markets that look juicy, but are just priced weird by sketchy books. Jackbit is my only pick for not feeling like I’ll wake up to missing funds or rules suddenly shifting.
