Perfect Pairs bet.
Do they make Perfect Pairs pay less online on purpose? I started paying more attention to side bets and this one is the worst for pulling me in. It looks great because a pair shows up often enough to keep you interested, then you check the paytable and it is always trimmed down somewhere. I was looking at a live table and then another one right after and they weren't even the same, which is what got me posting. This is what I mean: Perfect Pair 5:1 Colored Pair 10:1 Mixed Pair 25:1 Then on another table it was: Perfect Pair 6:1 Colored Pair 12:1 Mixed Pair 25:1 I know the hit rate doesn't change just because the screen looks different, so I don't get why this bet moves around so much when the main blackjack rules are sitting there in plain view. It gives you that nice almost-regular win feeling, but it still seems like one of those bets where they shave it just enough that people don't notice (especially if they're playing a few hands at once). I'm not even asking if it's worth betting every hand, I mean do they make this one worse online because they know people will keep clicking it anyway?
