anyone ever caught a blackjack dealer making mistakes intentionally

sure, i get why some people think dealers might be pulling fast ones - sometimes it does feel off, like the payoffs are slow or the double-checking seems forced. in roulette, you definitely see the human element come in, but in blackjack i wonder if it's more about habit mistakes versus intentional ones. like, once or twice i saw a dealer miscount chips or skip a player, but honestly it seemed more like fatigue or distraction, not like a scam.

still, the stakes are higher at crowded tables, so maybe the temptation is there. i start wondering if regulars notice patterns and just don't speak up. even with pit bosses around, mistakes can slip if no one's really paying attention. do you think it's easier to spot dealer errors at full tables or when it's just you and the dealer?

yeah, i lean fatigue over conspiracy in blackjack. i missed a dealer paying my push like a win once because i was half watching the side chatter at a full table, so for me heads up is way easier to catch mistakes. variance already does enough weird stuff on its own 🙂

That push-pay thing happens more on crypto tables, dealer rotation and nobody notices for 3 hands
