basic strategy chart wrong?

Been using the same printed basic strategy chart for years but lately I’m seeing different moves on some of the newer ones online. Like they say always hit 16 against a dealer 10 but now a few sites are saying surrender if possible, and even some minor things like double vs split seem switched around in places. Is this just a thing with certain deck counts or house rules or are these charts just put together sloppily sometimes? Don’t want to mess up my rhythm at the table just because some influencer blog said so.

Anyone got a chart source that’s been rock solid, or is there always gonna be this much variation?
