blackjack table said surrender available but button never showed when i needed it

so i’m grinding some hands at this online blackjack table, and the table rules clearly say “surrender available” right under min/max, but when i went to toss the hand and hit surrender, there was literally no button anywhere. i checked for like a solid 10 seconds too, was not just missing it. the regular buttons were all there, just not surrender. ended up eating a hard 16 vs dealer’s ten, so you know how that went…

makes me wonder, am i just cursed with clicking or do some tables say surrender is a thing but only let you do it in certain situations? i mean maybe it’s me and my “smudge on the screen, can’t unsee it” ways, but i’ve got the ritual down now after a couple months. don’t wanna keep hammering my balance because the surrender button is out for a smoke break every time i need it.

roulette never makes me think this hard - just throw the chips and pray for a streak. blackjack and its rules got me feeling like i need to write stuff down.
