bet365 blackjack auto stood my hand after lag even tho timer still had time

Not sure if anyone else has had this happen, but last night I was playing online blackjack and my screen started lagging right as I was deciding whether to hit or stand. The timer still showed I had like 8 seconds left, so I’m thinking I’ve got a little breathing room. But right then it just auto stood for me and locked my hand. I definitely didn’t hit any button. Super annoying because I wanted to hit on a 14.

Do you think this is some kind of bug with the platform or just what happens when you lag out during your turn? It’s not the first time my internet has hiccuped mid-game, but I’ve always been able to make my move before. Curious if it’s happened to anyone else and how you deal with it - ride it out, or take it as a sign to step away?
