blackjack table changed rules from h17 to s17 after refresh or maybe im blind

just noticed something weird at the tables last night - swear i sat down at a blackjack game showing h17, played a few hands, took a bathroom break, came back after a refresh, now it’s s17. maybe i’m just tired but i’m pretty sure it switched mid-session. anyone else ever see that happen? i’m not talking about hopping tables either, was the same seat, same dealer.

if it did change, what’s the point? s17 is better for us, right? can’t figure out if i got lucky, missed something obvious, or if these places just swap things around to mess with regulars. i mean, i try to pay attention to the little rule cards but sometimes they’re kinda hidden or quick to flip screens. have any of you seen the house edge rules shift like this before, or is it just me missing it?

I missed this once on a Live Dealer table, thought the rules changed, it was the lobby card lagging the audio feed. I quit trusting that little tile after that.

Could’ve been lag, sure, but on Live Dealer the chat feature is decorative and support acts like a houseplant. If a table flips to s17 and back, good luck getting a straight answer...

Seat limit weirdness is the bit i’d check, not chat. Was it one of those live tables where the game provider keeps the lobby card stale while the feed updates, like poker tournament lobbies do sometimes.

Had that once on Infinite Blackjack, same seat. Roulette feed did it too.

i stopped trusting the tile too, i read the rules panel on the table every time now. s17 is better for us by a hair on house edge, if that flipped mid session thats backend nonsense not blackjack!!!

maybe not mid session but same dealer means nothing online casino side ive had european blackjack relabel after refresh. weird as hell tho

yeah ive seen that once on a live table after a shoe swap and it was just the studio loading a diff ruleset, not some galaxy brain trap. s17 is better for u full stop. if they also tweaked re split or decks then thats the real tell. id just hammer the chat feature and make them say the current rules in writing rn

Same seat same dealer is the part that'd annoy me, i've had speed blackjack feel less shady than that, which is rude honestly
