Nothing hurts more than doubling 11 and getting a 2.

Is this still the right double (basic play), is there anything worse?

The dealer’s upcard is what matters for the double, and 11 is still the basic play there. I put €10 on it once and caught a low card.

Didn’t make it the wrong decision, just a rotten result.

Still double it every time, the 2 just stings extra.
