Bonus account restrictions: why do sites sometimes lock you out during promotion.

Took a shot at a reload bonus last week, followed the instructions but suddenly got locked out of the promo. Support just tossed the "terms violation" line, nothing specific. Never had this happen on my blackjack grind before so it's got me thinking - is this more common for certain games or play styles? Only thing different I did was mix in some live dealer action. Has anyone figured out what really triggers these lockouts? Is it actual play or just unlucky timing with their internal checks? Curious to hear what you all have experienced.

Mixing in live dealer can flag you, especially if their system auto-checks bonus abuse by game type. I got burned once on poker freerolls because my play pattern shifted mid-promo. They rarely say what triggered it but in my experience, big sudden changes get noticed. If you mainly played blackjack before, that switch could’ve looked suspicious.

If your average bet size creeps up during a promo, even without changing game type, that alone can invite a manual review. Limiting bet swings is my go-to move now.

one thing crypto casinos flag is if you slow-roll through most of the promo then ramp bets hard near the finish. bankroll curves get algorithmic eyes now.

Chasing bonuses with a streak of tiny bets then swinging for the fences near WR? Yeah, that gets eyes on you, especially with crypto sites running trend detection. I learned the hard way after a mad late promo blitz on Sweet Bonanza. That hot finish felt slick till the next morning when my balance got frozen and support pretended it was just “routine.” These days, if I want to avoid headaches, I keep my slot play pretty steady instead of spiking. Kind of boring but at least I get to cash out when luck shows up.

It gets funny when you realize most crypto casinos track your bet timelines like they're building crime scene timelines. I once kept things perfectly flat and still caught a timeout after an auto-refresh glitched my session mid-spin. Anyone else ever get flagged just for tech weirdness, or am I collecting rare achievements here?

Sites sometimes clamp down simply based on withdrawal timing too, not just game mix. If you cash out soon after bonus play, their fraud filters get extra twitchy. I had an account frozen right after hitting WR on a Wheel of Fortune promo, and support was zero help.

Slot-heavy promos seem to get less scrutiny than table games. Years ago, I had a streak on video poker during a bonus and nothing happened. Swapped to high volatility slots once, still no issues. Once I hit a blackjack table with the same promo, that is when my account review started. Never got an answer but since then I keep table action and promos separate. Curious if anyone's run into this when sticking only to slots or video poker.
