anyone get bonus denied for playing certain games

Got an email about a reload bonus this week, so I tossed a deposit on and figured I’d mix it up with a few rounds on some slots. Didn’t read the fine print as close as I should have, apparently. When I went to claim the bonus after hitting the wagering, customer service told me I played “restricted games” and they weren’t paying out. Wasn’t anything fancy, just some of the more popular slots I always see up top. Didn’t even try any table games or the weird ones I know are usually blocked.

Not the first time I’ve run into a snag like this, but I always thought those “contributing games” lists were just for playthrough percentages, not outright bans. Am I missing something here? Anybody else get their bonus denied for just clicking on the wrong slots? Getting tired of all these loopholes but maybe I’m the only one not keeping up with the rules changing every other week.

slots promo rules are shifting sands these days, not your imagination. one move that helped me is always filtering the game list by “bonus eligible” before spinning. not every site offers it, but when they do, it takes a lot of sting out of those denied bonuses. keeps me from eating into my bankroll on a technicality. at the end of the day, double checking habits beat chasing a hot streak every time.

seeing this happen more these days and it’s not just you. most sites barely bother to flag restricted slots in the game lobby and instead bury those details in twenty lines of small print. i get why they do it, since bonus abuse is a legit risk, but from a risk_management angle it’s starting to feel like a trap for regular players too. in sports_betting, terms are stricter but usually upfront. casino brands could learn a thing or two about making the rules clearer, not sneakier.
