casino bonus got removed after i played one excluded slot by accident

So I triggered a casino bonus last night and totally missed one of the slots on the excluded list - clicked into it without double-checking, spun maybe 5 times, then bailed. A couple hours later, my bonus balance vanished and when I asked support, they pointed out the T&Cs said that slot was a no-go, so I broke the rules and that was it. I get that the rule is there, but there was nothing in-game warning me, and I wasn’t even trying to get a sneaky edge, it was an honest mistake.

Kinda feels like these exclusions are booby traps for people who play a bunch of different slots. I’m starting to wonder if it’s even worth it to mess with bonuses at all, if a minor slip can wipe out whatever edge you could work. How do you all stay on top of the long banned lists? Are there any platforms that give you some warning before you start an excluded game, or is that wishful thinking? I’m thinking of just being super picky now with promos, because this left a bad taste.
