why do some casinos give worse bonuses to VIP players

i've noticed this too and it's pretty weird. like you play way more, get the tier up, and suddenly your reloads or free spins are less than what you got before. i get that some places think vip means you don't care about bonuses, but c'mon, everyone likes extra value. sometimes it feels like they're just trying to push you to wager more instead of giving out the fun stuff.

maybe they think bigger balances don't need as much promo bait? i mostly do live dealer tables and the real draw for me is always the occasional good offer. have any of you actually found a place that gives better promos after you go vip, or is it all downhill?
