draftkings promo credited as site credit instead of withdrawable cash

I did one of those “bet $5, get $150” promos and the bonus showed up as site credit, not withdrawable cash. I get that there’s always some strings, but I thought it’d be cash after meeting the playthrough requirements. Instead, now it’s just trapped there and I have to keep playing it through before I see any actual withdrawable balance.

Is this just normal for these promos or did I miss a detail? I checked the fine print but it’s loaded with legal jargon. Not gonna lie, I’d rather just play my own bets than be forced into playing out credit. I’m curious how everyone else handles this. Do you just grind through, or is there a way to convert the bonus to cash faster? How do you stay disciplined so you don’t just blow the credit chasing something wild?

I try to stick with the same stake sizes I'd normally use instead of treating the credit like free money. It makes it easier not to burn through it too quickly.

Yeah, that’s normal. “bonus cash” is almost never cash. I’d rather punt roulette than babysit site credit for 6x playthrough!!!

Yeah, that’s normal. Site credit/bonus bets aren’t cash till you roll it through. Crypto casinos pull the same crap lol

Wait, the “bet $5 get $150” part lol. I’ve screwed that exact wording up before and assumed cash too 😅
