caesars odds boost disappeared after i edited stake.

Went to grab an odds boost earlier for an MLB run line and after I typed my stake, I realized I fat-fingered the amount. Soon as I edited the number, the boost vanished from my bet slip. Weird thing is, the promo banner was still showing up in the promos tab. It just wouldn’t re-apply to the same selection no matter how many times I tried to back out and re-add it.

Not sure if this is standard or if the boost just gets locked out once you tinker with the slip. I had a similar thing happen with a blackjack table promo a couple weeks ago where re-seating at a table cost me the offer. For folks tracking these, here’s the steps I took,

  1. Selected the boosted market from promo page

  2. Entered stake with too many digits

  3. Edited stake to correct

  4. Boost gone from slip, but still showed in main promo tab

Not my first time missing out from a promo glitch or user error, so curious if this is the norm or I just have bad timing lately.

Nah, the promos tab still showing means basically nothing lol, that’s just caesars doing ghost UI crap. Had it on an mlb live bet where the banner stayed up but the slip was dead sooo yeah, if the slip desyncs the offer’s gone and support is useless lmao

yeah, the banner staying up is the part people miss. "available" in promos and "attached to your slip" are two different states, and caesars acts like the first click already spent the coupon. dumb setup, honestly.

Yeah, that's the annoying part. Seeing the promo still marked as available makes you think it's still usable, then the bet slip says otherwise. The status should be way clearer instead of making people guess what happened.

Sounds like editing the slip may have killed the promo, which is a pretty annoying design if that’s the case

Did that once on a Poker boost, turned a $25 stab into $250 by sausage finger. Slip ate the promo, naturally

Lmao “sausage finger” got me. Nothing worse than fat-fingering the stake and watching the promo disappear with it.

$250 typo on Poker would finish me

Yeah, sounds like editing the slip killed the promo, which is a pretty annoying design if that's actually how it works.

That’s annoying, especially when the boost still shows but won’t attach again

Promo tab is just ad space with a pulse, thats all. The part that gets me is theres usually no usable audit trail after, same as when an unsettled bet gets graded weird and support wants a timestamp like youre their clerk, I started screen recording anything over $50 because of this dumb stuff haha

“Decorative confetti” is crazy but yeah, some promo tabs really be looking useful until you actually click something.

Did it flip the min stake after the edit?! I've had boosts die the second the slip recalcs, same pick, same promo, just gone...

That sounds like a promo glitch more than anything. Caesars does have specific limits and conditions on odds boosts, so I'd check the promo terms first. If the boost disappears just from correcting the stake while the promo is still showing, I'd probably screenshot the slip and contact support before placing the bet. Same thing I'd do with Vega.bet or any other sportsbook when a promo doesn't apply correctly.

I’d probably screenshot the boost before changing anything next time, these promo rules can be weird.

Yeah, I'd do that too. A screenshot at least gives you something to point to if the boost randomly disappears after editing the slip.
